Whilst Chair of The AHOY Charity we invited John to lead the development of a ‘values culture’ amongst our staff, freelancers, volunteers and beneficiaries. Prior to Johns workshop and subsequent follow up the stakeholders in the charity often discussed what was important to them however the organisation lacked a consensus about what defined and made the AHOY's purpose so unique and endearing.

John led the development of what turned out to be 12 agreed values and the embedding of processes and conversations around the same ensuring they lived on a ‘day to day’ basis and were inculcated through all those associated with the Charity. It is always a joy to visit the Centre and witness/feel the legacy John left, ensuring the values culture lives through the daily conversations, behaviours and activities.

John has a real empathy with people and an awareness to ensure all personalities are listened to and nurtured to participate. It was a joy to witness his approach first hand, one that allows people of all abilities, behaviours and personalities to feel valued and share their contributions without fear of exclusion or marginalisation.

Having worked in major corporations as an executive I can honestly state that it is rare to find someone of Johns abilities, behaviours, values and insightful approach in the coaching/consultancy world.
